사랑 메모... ing Love Notes, ...ing

왜 이런 생각을 하게 되었는지 잘 모르겠지만 ’그럼에도 불구하고‘는 사랑이다. 근래에 한동안 결핍에 대해 생각을 많이 했다. 결핍을 떠올리니 사랑을 떠올렸다. 그러자 ’그럼에도 불구하고‘ 라는 말이 떠올랐고 역시 그것말고 달리 사랑을 표현할 길은 없다는 마음에 이르렀다. 저 말이 부사구라는 점도 흥미롭다. 부사구는 의미가 없기도 하다. 없어도 되는 말이다.

무언가가 끝나지 않는다면 그것은 사랑이다. 형태나 모양, 형식은 상관 없다. 이 세계가 인간세계라 방법은 문제가 될 수 있다. 하지만 문제는 문제일 뿐이고 오해는 풀릴 것이다. 오해가 언제 풀리는지도 상관 없다. 내가 죽고 나서 풀려도 상관 없다. 영영 풀리지 않는다면 그것은 선악의 문제이거나 신경이 미칠 일이 아닌 거다.

없어도 되는 말, 끝나지 않는 것, 부정문으로 가리킬 수 있는 무엇, 시간성, 행하는 중, 상관 없는, … 그런 것들. …

I'm not sure why this thought came to me, but "nevertheless" is love. Lately I've spent a while thinking about lack. Thinking of lack led me to think of love. And then the word "nevertheless" came to mind, and I arrived at the feeling that there's really no other way to express love than that. It's interesting, too, that this word is an adverb. An adverb can be meaningless. It's a word that doesn't need to exist.

If something doesn't end, that is love. Form, shape, structure — none of it matters. Since this world is a human world, method can become a problem. But a problem is only a problem, and misunderstanding will eventually resolve. It doesn't matter when the misunderstanding resolves. It's fine even if it resolves after I die. If it never resolves at all, then that's a matter of good and evil — or simply not something worth troubling over.

A word that doesn't need to exist. Something that doesn't end. Something that can only be pointed to in the negative. Temporality. In the midst of doing. Something that doesn't matter. ... things like that. ...
